I love a good found family tale or a tender coming of age story. I love curling up to a cozy nichijoukei or a sleepy iyashikei. I love a good romance or an exciting action show I love a show thatll make me really ponder and reflect on something and I love a show thatll lull me into thinking of nothing at all. I keep my animanga favourites list to one entry per franchise using my favourite bit of the franchise partly for itself and partly for a wider franchise signifier with Liz / Hibike as an exception. The faves have gone from a failed exercise in staking a claim on the best things ever to just being things I think about lots and lots and care most about stuff that has a big place in my heart.
