Hello. My name is Nick but my Nickname is Ryuki has been to some friends growing up. I grew up in the 2000s watching anime that was both new at the time via online Japanese sites and watching significantly older anime through VHS Laserdisc and DVDs that my friends would hand me down. I grew up watching old Tokusatsu like Kamen Rider Kamen Rider Black/RX Inazuman Ultraman Sentai and some Metal Heroes. On the anime side I loved all kinds of old school Mecha such as Mazinger Z Macross Gundam Getter Robo and even Evangelion. Growing up I was even more passionate about Japans film and joined and hosted fan clubs in my area spreading the word of such good but sadly unknown media in this side of the world. Now I go to conventions all around the US mostly in Florida and am starting to go to some in Japan like Comiket. I am passionate about the history of Otaku culture and hope that you join and ride with me on the journey to bring more awareness to the history of anime and tokusatsu.
