His debut role on the small screen was in the 2017 drama We Did It but it was in 2022 where he got his big break starring as the younger version of the main male lead in the Netflix series : FIRST LOVE based on the Hikaru Utada hit of the same name.
In 2024 Kido would get his first role in animation voicing the character of Rui Kagehira in the animated original film The Colors Within.
