Nobuko Yoshiya

Nobuko Yoshiya 18961973 was a novelist active during the Taishou period and early Showa period in Japan. She was a pioneer of literature written for adolescent girls and among other things is credited with starting the Class S genre of stories about strong emotional relationships among schoolgirls.
