Ootsubo Maki was born October 23 1958 in Kobe Hyogo Prefecture Japan. He is a mangaka who debuted 1980 with Buchi Maru Outlaw in Weekly Shounen Jump. In 1983 he received the 9th Chiba Tetsuyashou Young Magazines Rookie of the Year Award foir Kisetsuhazure Gomennasai . Following his next work the Weekly Young Sunday serialisation Mr. Cinema Mr. he worked on many works of various themes and genre including the Mahjong manga Mantori the Pachinko manga Pachisuro 7 7 and the baseball manga Bokura no Koshien but is best known for the three volumes long Kennel Tokorozawa and four volumes long Odaijini which were both adapted into Original Animation Videos.
