Jun Tamatani

Twitterhttps://twitter.com/tamasandaiou Tamatani Jun is a freelance designer video game developer and former employee of studio Gainax. Originally he worked for General Products an Osakabased company specializing in selling garage kits and scifi related goods that was established on 14 February 1982 by Okada Toshio who later became the first Gainax president. After transferring to Gainax Tamatani became an employee of the studios game department. He supervised the making of such games as Neon Genesis Evangelion: Ayanami Raising Project and Mahoromatic Adventure and contributed to creation of several Gainax anime as a designer and special effects artist. He also appeared in a liveaction segment in the first episode of Otaku no Video playing the role of Tamatani Junichi a longtime otaku who recalls his days at a university scifi club. Source: AniDB
