Mitsuyasu Sakai

Sakai graduated from Mikunigaoka High School and he holds a Masters degree in Electronic Engineering from Kansai University. After working at NTT as an A.I. researcher he became a scifi novel writer and translator. He also started handling scripts and scifi related work on anime. In 2018 he crowdfunded the production of a liveaction film and managed to fund 19 million yen which is the highest film production crowdfunding ever achieved in Japan. In 2021 he produced directed and wrote a short film title Orbital Christmas. A novelization of the work was written by Haruna Ikezawahttps://anilist.co/staff/95439/. He holds a regular event on Live Wire called Haruna Ikezawa Miho Sakais SF Anything Box with aforementioend voice actress and essayist Haruna Ikezawa.
