This anime comes with a pretty ironic premise : its an idol anime watch it and then you watch it you pretty enjoy it and you come to two different points : Either you loved it or you are indifferent. Love Live is not an anime at all its wholesome story of a dream of some girls or even better its the story of 9 girls chasing that dream unattainable yet reachable. It might be the challenge or the passion to it but Love Live tries to show to you some hidden parts of your soul until the point you ask to yourself : Whats my dream? Every story begins from a problematic start and here if not in a very conventional way the anime gave a good point to start but the development is a milestone of the franchise. As I said before everything comes at a price and the price the girls paid was everything. What do I mean by saying everything? They threw away any mask of their soul they eliminated every bad thought about the others and showed what they truly are to eachother without the fear of being judged. Sometimes you can think the word everything and relate it with objects but we often forget about ourselves and who we truly are. Your enemy becomes your best friend and thats pretty ironic and controversial because you battled so much against. At the end of everything you can see something that is perfectly showed in Sunshine : the union of the feelings can create something never saw and Saint Aqours Snow shows it. And then you reach the dream but what happens next? You decide it. s decided something and Aqours decided something else you decide you future and who you want to become who you want to be next to you and who you want to stay away. Unforgettable family Thats the big point of the show which hits different always. Love Live gives you a bunch of unique girls with their own problems and its not that they will resolve the problems in the anime but its the way they do it and most of all its iconic how the girls are displayed : someone is the missing piece to someone else. Lets take a quick look in s : Honoka is the leader of the group but shes too energic and she often makes mistakes one of them is a really big one and she comes to a point which shes mentally destroyed her counterpart is Umi and yes they are best friends so why is she her opposite? Umi is a very polite girl and she alway thinks before doing something but when it comes to Honoka she completely changes and does everything she can to help her. Another perfect example are Rin and Hanayo : Rin is very energic like Honoka but because of some traumas of the past about her body she loses her feminine confidence on the other hand Hanayo is a beautiful girl with big problems with making friends but once she makes some she becomes the first to cheer them Rin is not a beauty Hanyao is a beauty Rin doubts about herself Hanayo does her best for her. Every girl ends up to being there for other always 270https://i.ur.com/5C5v0vB.png Talking about Aqours its even better : The trio of the third year often have battles within them but at the same time they love eachother and they dont want no one to be unhappy they simply do the best for the other. Mari can have a bright future but the idol career can ruin it and so Kanan does her best to make Mari avoid that way. Dia loves idols but she doesnt want Chika to create a new idol group because she wants to avoid her to suffer. Another example are Ruby and Yoshiko both struggling in the everyday life because of their personality. And here comes Hanamaru who isnt different at all from them but she wants to rise them to their best she thinks that joining Aqours is the best choice for them. The development of everyone is through the whole anime and that little thing makes everything perfect to my eyes because nothing is rushed and everything is at it own pace. If you are there for the others the others will be there for you. Sweet old sic The music is subjective but I want to spend a few words about it : In School Idol Project I wasnt really impressed because sometimes the voices werent how can I say balanced and they often ended up ruining some parts of the songs. The very best comes in the second season of School Idol Project and the peak is reached with Snow Halation truly magnificent 420https://i.ur.com/ZoZgvLW.png However Sunshine stepped up and created my favourite songs. I dont hold back from saying that I love them so much that I can talk about them all the day but we dont have all the day. Aqours made every song perfect anime and nonanime with some of the best voices Ive ever heard like Yoshiko or Hanamaru. The instrumental is always on point and exalt the song even better like in WATER BLUE NEW WORLD or My Mai Tonight by giving some unique vibes. Conclusions Love Live was a different experience from what I initially thought and now you know why and also why I love this anime so much. The songs the girls the music and every character got a piece of me and linked me to their world as I were present to their lives in the anime.
