From the start I thought we are going have a great adventure with Luffy and his Straw Hats like any other One Piece Movie. The movie is close to a masterpiece because it takes the elements that makes One Piece times that by ten. We got a fantastic visual with beastly animation with its combat back to back. We got to see most of the popular characters as well as some of the smaller known characters. The Studio did a fantastic job display the strength and the weakness of each character show them into a better light. Toei Animation did an amazing job as well as the director Takashi Otsuka. Luffy and the crew got message that an event is going to happen that involved King of the Pirates. Almost every pirate went to the event to tackle head on except for Buggy. As each pirate crew arrived to the island the announcer with an Pirate Idol greet with a big projection of illusion due to her ability to create visualize projection. One by one they fight for the glory to get the treasure to get there is to fly and land on rising water leads to the island that contain a treasure from King of the Pirates. What makes this scene is great that the fun to make the visual to be dymanic while its flow with the atmosphere of One Piece. A fight against pirates in a royal rumble match up to get the King of the Pirates Treasure. The battle scene is amazing to see as the pirates chased the treasure stopping each other with their Devil Powers and some with their actually strengths. As we are greeted with Buggy the Warlord taken the treasure himself as Luffy tackle him down but misses. Buggy flees which makes the plots thicken a bit more than before. Buggy saw what was inside the treasure box as he tries to grab on to it but somehow loses it. A massive quake hits the island displaying the might of the new threat which one that was behind the event actually and he is the King Rogers Right Hand Man that rivals Rayleigh in the past. As he swoops and bury everyone in view. The strongest people from worst generation were no match his might. The scene shows the emotional struggle between his friend being demolish by him. No matter how many times they did attack they were defeated. The struggle his friend got up and face up get better as he plan the seed to his plan in the future. Throughout all the fighting they all came together to fight one foe as he destroys in sight. No matter how the enemy the bigger the enemy the harder they may fall. As exactly what they show with their friendship and bonds one another even through it seem like one final strike to finish. There are some mistakes in plots for this to happen but overall the movie is a love song to the fans of One Piece. It contains excellent art even seen in anime movies. No matter your stance on One Piece I think everyone will either like it or love it because it contains everything that you from One Piece as a whole. No matter how hard Luffy will save you in the end and no matter how hard Luffy will get your back as well as his sniper Usopp. There is no shortcut when it comes to fun or adventure because you will gain a lot more without the device to cheat.
