Everything doesnt have a happy ending.

Visuals
The visuals are very average for its time. Its nothing too special but theres nothing bad about it either. This will probably be the last time I have a visuals section in my reviews Unless I really do find something really good/bad about them

Characters
Yuuichi Ezaki is the kindhearted man youd probably expect. He genuinely cares about Rikas safety and her feelings going through certain lengths to make her happy. Rika Akiba is at first rude and disrespectful to Yuuichi but she slowly begins to show her true self. As she grows closer to Yuuichi Rika begins to act more friendly and happy towards him. Akiko Tanizaki is the nurse that treats Yuuichi. Although a bit bratty at times Akiko actually has a soft side for Yuuichi showing her more free lifestyle in later episodes. The doctor that takes care of Rika Gorou Natsume isnt a fan of Yuuichi in particular. Gorou likes to mess with him sometimes trying to ruin the relationship between Yuuichi and Rika.

The Good
With what the show provides I think that the show does a good job drawing emotions out of the characters. When the scenes are supposed to be emotional they are as emotional as they should be. Even with the somewhat predictable ending I still felt all the raw emotions hitting me at once. I saw a couple of times where the show couldve taken itself more lightly and Im so glad that they chose to make this a completely serious anime. The topic they cover is quite a dramatic and painful one so trying not to downplay it in this anime definitely benefited in terms of the quality of the plot.

The Bad
This anime lacks the it factor that many other anime ranked higher than this have. It doesnt really have anything somewhat special going for itself. Theres definitely other unique anime out there that take concepts from this show and make it more entertaining and interesting. Not to say that this show is necessarily boring but its definitely nothing to talk about.

The Downright Ugly
Nothing downright ugly about this anime.

Is It Worth The Watch?
Hmm.... This is a somewhat difficult question for me to answer. Its a decent show but I dont think its anything you should waste your time on. Its not bad by any means but its not good enough for me to say that watching the entirety of this show was worth it. For that reason Id say that its not worth the watch but only because its nothing spectacular.
Thank you for taking the time to read my review. I hope this helped you with your decision on whether to watch this anime or not If you already have watched it I hope that you can agree with me with some of the points I made.
