This review does not contain spoilers for the actual plot but there are screenshots of the webtoon to show the humor and other aspects of it
Skelly Hegol in the original is a skeleton who lives in the Devildom. They just left their fathers home to live alone and decided to adopt a cat from the human world. The cat arrives and its hairless chubby and overall weirdlooking. Well Skelly cant simply abandon the weird cat so they accept it as it is and decide to raise it.
This is just the very tip of the iceberg of this incredibly entertaining webtoon.

After reading this manhwa up to chapter 162 where the official translation has paused I wanted to write a review to explain why I enjoy it so much what is so good about it and why you should read it too. So here we go
First of all: the characters. Think about a diverse fun interesting cast. Now turn all of them into different kinds of demons and mythical creatures. Now imagine them all living normal lives in a world that despite being owned by demons is very similar to ours. This is how we get Skelly a skeleton who is the child of... oops I cant tell you that their best friend Lily who is a succubus and also an alcoholic and a bit of a nutcase affectionate Adam a devil who is also a very devoted reverend of the Church of the Demon God Edward a dragon who is the butler of Skellys father household and is always trying to bring them back home Nabi who is a baby mistaken for a hairless cat and is now being raised with much love by a skeleton... these are just few. We have many many others.
Then the worldbuilding. The setting as said before is the Devildom. This Demon World is very similar to ours having schools churches hospitals colleges stores etc. Which doesnt mean all the different species of demons live in harmony... but it used to be worse. We learn that things changed quite recently thanks to the new Demon King.
The story develops in a pacing that some would call slow in terms of major plot points. Personally I see this as a very positive thing the pacing feels very natural not rushed and not too dragged. We meet the characters and learn their goals their backgrounds their roles all in its right time things arent simply thrown at the reader. There are points where the story gets serious and and we have some drama but most of the time it feels very lighthearted and funny. God so funny. The humor of this manhwa has made me laugh out loud multiple times. Its often silly but at the same time clever. This and the fact that sometimes the artstyle becomes realistic for the sake of comedy has me howling sometimes.
Another thing I want to point out is how often we think were about to witness a cliche scene and the story/characters do exactly the opposite of what we expect.
I also really like how this manhwa is gender nonconforming in subtle ways. Skelly uses neutral pronouns the sex/gender of the baby Nabi is never mentioned they use neutral pronouns for them too and as Skelly themself has said:
Yeji a female demon has a very bulky and masculine body and she is considered a hottie in her species.
And when Skelly starts questioning the origin of their bones and if they would define their gender we can count on Lilys wise words:
Besides all that this manhwa also has beautiful friendships
Family drama
Hot guys
Hot girls
MILF goblin that can break you in half
CUTENESS OVERLOAD
And this is how the vet looks like:
I could show much more but certain things are more fun as surprises What I can say is if you want to read something relaxing fun interesting amusing and entertaining that you can enjoy with no compromise but still makes you want to read more simply because its fun... thats the manhwa for you
Trust me I never lie.
