Important Note: Even though this manga has the same as the anime its adapting it is actually a requirement to have watched the first and second season of the Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha anime series first. The reasons for this are that not only is this series more of a complement to the anime none of the anime scenes are actually adapted into the series and there are spoilers from the anime in this. As I just said this manga is a complement to the Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha As anime. All the different chapters show events that actually happen before after and even inbetween the Nanoha As manga. To be precise Chapters 03 take place before the Nanoha As anime Chapters 45 are events that happen during Nanoha As and 67 are events that happen directly after the anime ends. This is why I recommend watching season 1 and 2 of the Nanoha anime first unless you really want to go through this series in full chronological order than I guess you could go off this mini guide that I have here. All the chapters go through the viewpoint of Nanoha Fate Hayate and all of their comrades and friends and how they interact with each other. In fact if youre hoping for more action in this manga series you may be disappointed as the majority of this series are just the main characters interacting with each other. Thankfully I was not expecting that in this manga and as someone who was expecting more character interactions of the actual series it was nice to have this cover more of that content since the original As was mostly action plot. While I did like the action of the Nanoha As manga I wish it had more character interaction and this manga definitely didnt disappoint in that regard. If you didnt get enough of Nanoha/Fates school life You wanted to get to know hayate and her gang even more or if you wanted the conclusion of As anime to be longer then youll at least like this series. The Art of this series is good it has all the great character designs from the anime. I have no particular complaints of the presentation beyond the fact that we cant hear the voices anymore but that just comes with the manga medium. Overall I thought this was a very enjoyable short series and think that anyone who enjoyed the Nanoha As anime should at least give this manga series a try. Just dont expect a lot of the over the top action magic action scenes from the animes and dont expect a serious plot as its already over and you can watch the original anime if you want to see that. Btw my best girl is Nanoha herself She is the best at getting people on her side both through her energetic personality and her persuasive being attacks.
