Is not only my top 3 anime but also the anime that gave me support in one of the hardest moments in my life. That being said i was very excited when this movie was annonced. It was a way to celebrate the franchise 10th anniversary and close the ichigo arc. All of them continue with the idol work and are about to graduete from starlight academy. They will be finally adults. The movie is divided in 3 parts: the nostalgic part showing the characters in school and planning the graduation the future part showing the characters as adults and the final show part with idol performances and the official goodbye of the franchise. I Wont give spoilers but the movie does a great job in blending nostalgia and a good story. Is such a joy seeing these characters growing up and continuing to follow their dreams. The creators now we want to see the future of the characters but also experience the nostalgia of watching an aikatsu episode for the last time.Is a message to everyone that growed up with aikatsu to never give up and keep going. All of them are more mature but the essence of the characters are still there. The movie did a great job in showing the character development without forgetting their charms. The only sad thing is that none of the shipps were canon but aikatsu focus was never romance so i just ignore it. The essence of the show is there: the feel good vibe of the episodes is strong as always. I could not stop smiling during most of the movie and when i wasnt smiling i was crying of nostalgia. For the fans your love for this franchise will grow stronger. But the format of it is just genius. They did it just like it was an ordinary aikatsu collection of episodes with the opening and ending playing for 2 times. The nostalgia hit hard here. Apparently this is the goodbye of the franchise but i really hope not. The aikatsu universe has a large amount of things to explore and i wouldnt mind watching these girls for years. Akari my favorite character also could get a movie But if it is really an ending they did it perfectly. This was my first review but i really needed to talk about this movie. This was a love letter to all the aikatsu fans and a very beautiful one. Thank you aikatsu and see you latter.
