Im a man who really loves the topic of mystery and dark in a story and thanks to some unique arts I can easily fall in love with it Inu to Kuzu pretty soon conquered my heart in terms of plot because I loved the plot behind it and I liked every character for those few that were there but I feel really gutted because it was way too short. Mystery sadness and madness What I loved the most was the start of the story : sudden feels out of place so fast that you dont have enough time to think about what is happening. The character of Haruma really got me interested because of his amnesia he was clueless about everything around him but it was admirable the amount of effort he put for one single person in his life the girl he loves. On the other hand Reika ultimately got me because of her mysterious nature in the manga : what is she thinking? What does she want to do? What are her goals? Why is she lying so much? Gladly her character turned out to be my favorite in the closing stages. Shuuji was an interesting addition to the manga because he is not really present on a certain aspect but he was in many others and its awesome to see how the whole story developed around him because now we touch the most important part of this manga : the madness of every character. Every single person in this manga is insane on his own but all of this reaches the pinnacle at 3/4 of the opera where the first tears will appear the first fights will become true and where bonds will get ruined as well with minds getting broken and people dying inside either because accepting the truth or deciding to live forever in the false. Kamoshita and Ebihara decided to live in the false forever and got destroyed because of that either physically or not. Wish it was longer But unfortunately the manga is too short to deliver this story to its absolute best or at least for how I felt it : things were a little bit rushed to me and I didnt really realize the change of direction Haruma got and how Reika suddenly changed her personality. As well I hated how some side characters that were still important to the story I felt like they got treated bad not enough time that they both deserved : Miyu and Kai were two wonderful characters to the story because how different they are Miyu with her weird personality trying her best to get Haruma as distant as possible from Reika to let the baby grow up with two mothers and Kai completely supporting Haruma and Reikas decision. I also felt like a little bit the antagonists of the manga got way to less time and importance in the manga but that maybe is only on me. MAN I LOVE THE DARK ARTS IMGhttps://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/796735043543498813/978286871002087464/unknown.png I ABSOLUTELY loved the very dark arts and the vibes they gave to me : I always felt like they represented Harumas point of view of the story of how confused he was and how the panels changed with his feelings absolutely loved the choice to brighten the final chapter of the story to show how Haruma resolved himself in the inside. I also really liked how the sexual things got shown in the manga as a completely dirty and disrespectful thing if you know what Im trying to say. Conclusions It was a really good experience for my eyes but Im quite sad it ended up within only 40 chapters deserved way more but yes I would recommend it. Hopefully you are not too scared of boobs and sexual references in the manga. Story : 7.8/10 Characters : 7.5/10 Arts : 9/10 Personal enjoyment : 8.7/10
