Theres lots of things about this guy hes a detective but not the type who usually comes to mind his cases are more related to heart. but whats interesting about this guy is his ability to speak to his car... What a weird ability to have its one of those type of powers that you wish you never had like Oh god couldnt you at least give me sth better ? BUT these words never crossed Keis head he actually made good use of his talent in ways that keept everything incredibly appealing this is one of the reasons why this manga is so different and unique its one of those uncommon gems you might not across easily and well kei even tho he talks to cars in the same way he cant speak to women he has no idea how to talk to Lilja the pretty girl whom he fell for at first sight and happened to see in worst possible ways over and over again. Everythings sunshine and rainbow ? but the story suddenly changes its tone to a really serious one after kei is unable to contact with his little brother who lives with his uncle and aunt back in Japan and at the time he returns to japan he caries a heavy amount of emotions and possibilities innermos self hes shocked by a reveal that changes everything and brings lots of deep mysterys to the story afterwards... Main review This manga has lots of mystery to the story but it has a super relaxed tone and chill atmosphere to the point that it feels like a comfortable sliceoflife with slow pacing that suits the whole concept and vibe of the story and art so well the main concept moves forward in no hurry through the daily life of the protagonist its best part is how smoothly it Switches between detective mystery and slice of life each side of the story blends in one another they both are designed to fit in the same tone and work as a team like how hand works alongside the sword and Saya covers katanas sori. Theres Several enigmatic elements throughout the story and each has its own depth and meaning to it each has their own specific direction filled with characters emotions and their personal point of view under different situations that they go through that outlook offers a solid ideas of what happened? Whats going on? whats going to happen? We got quite a few characters but they all are well written and theyve been brilliantly crafted kei and Lilja were slowly developed throughout the first 5 volumes they seem to get heavily involved with eachother in near future outside their relationship since we got lots of hints around Liljas special ability although its still unknown his gramps has a great stylish tone to him he shares so many similarities with kei and acts responsible hes the one that you can look to for inspiration and guidance and thats exactly what kei did from his childhood And the little brother... Goddammitt this little punk is scary theres sth about the way Irie draw him his eyes are so deceiving she def knows how to use body language perfectly their facial expressions are way too realistic. Michitaka is that confusing character who makes you question yourself he turns your opinion and view into untrustable thoughts. And Freyja well we dont know alot about this character although we recognize one thing really well and thats FEAR... the type of fear that keeps you safe she experienced it in her mind her survival response... Made it difficult for her to think clearly and make good decisions but unlike victims his fear protected her was it enough tho? The clear thing is running away from your problems just keeps you away from solving them it takes you farther and farther till the gap created between you two is unfixable but how are you supposed to deal with sth that goes beyond your understanding? The realism in her actions as a human is top notch.
