Considerations This is a spoilerfree review. 80+ in my rating means very good media. Ive got to read this work by the explore section without knowing much about it. Whenever I say manga I mean manga/manhwa/manhua. The Story The story is centered on Heewon. A high school teacher who is frustrated with her love life and decides to go wild. Dresses up and go have drinks on a luxurious bar. She ends up having a onenight affair with a stranger. After that onenight affair she discovers herself pregnant by someone that she doesnt even remember. The story on Positively Yours is pretty good. Honestly I was sold when they talked about someone being pregnant without even knowing who the father was. Thats a very different approach from normal romantic mangas in which the story is kawaii with love developing in a more idealistic way. Which isnt the case for some people. In Positively Yours you have an adult female freaking out because shes pregnant and needs to consider her life goals work and the prejudice that people will have towards her. The story evolves amazingly well. Its not just the romance theres a lot of drama funny moments and plot twists. I remember many moments when I just kept reading because I had to know what was going to happen. Its a really good story with a deserving ending. The Art Style The art style is pretty good. The character designs are well made. There are different heights traits and hairstyles that you can identify and recognize in each one. I feel like each one is kind of unique as there are a lot of different characters with different backgrounds. You dont get a lot of depth in the story of each one but its not as if it lacks. The information that we are given is enough to understand each point of view. In the main character department I cant complain either. Both are great. Their development is amazing to watch and as the chapters progress you start to see how their mentality is changing and maturing as recent parents. Conclusion If youre like me you skip everything and read only the conclusion because you dont want to get spoiled with other themes. So I will try to be brief on this point: Read it. Positively Yours seems to have everything that a mature audience might find interesting such as marriage without love being an unplanned pregnancy and so on. The art story and development are all great so theres nothing to really complain about.
