This is definitely one of the best things Ive read in a while. The story is pretty simple: there was a war between humanity and magical beasts humans stand no real chance until girls synchronize with fairies and become Magical girls. After their war ends Asuka hopes to live a nice and peaceful life but the appearance of human gangs who team up with magical beasts or even use magical items and do bad things that the common police and armies cant fight so Asuka has to come back and beat up bad guys. Nothing very complex at first but all of the things that Asuka is fighting against turns out to be controlled by one person and that person had the greatest and funniest reveal Ive ever seen in any media. Every Arc is just a piece of the plan that nobody could understand before finding out what kind of person the main villain is one chapter at a time Asuka has to sacrifice herself for everyone else and carry as much load as possible to make sure her friends dont need to be evil to protect those dear to them. Its like a combination of Magical Girl Site and Madoka Magica because it has similar themes but its still very separated from them not just because of the violence but also because it brings in global themes like wars between countries terrorist groups and such to really bring show why the evil mastermind is even doing it all and why Asuka protects everyon and how she sees humans and the world around her its just great to read. There is a lot of violence and they did not shy away from showing it so... you know if you think that tokyo ghoul or attack on titan are brutal you shouldnt read this otherwise its a great manga that I very much recommend if you like dark themes and magical girls. It only has 62 chapters so there are times where you have to read a lot of words in a few consecutive panels that was very annoying at times cause I cant spend all day reading on the different organisations before the next fights begin it just takes a bit too many words and a bit too much space for me to stay focused so if you just wanna see fights youll have to either be patient or skip some content. The utter disgust some characters will cause to you is not very low but its alright the cast is overall very likeable and doesnt make you wanna commit some unspeakable acts of terrors like in Magical Girl Site but you also wont have as much pity as in Madoka Magica. Asuka is pretty cool Kurumi was overall lovely but the yanderism in her is pretty strong and somethimes a bit uncomfortable at some times so... you know like it or feel horrible Just Cause and Phoenix are my girls I tolerate no slander of them the rest is okay. Thats it I hope youll enjoy it.
