Hmm its really hard to really say if I enjoyed it or not... I guess this anime was trying to convey three different type of love or romance in this anime. Well this is just my personal take on it. Nanase unrequited love Miu obsessive love Touko pure love Well Nanase is pretty clear cut its just a one sided love that kind of just that. Miu obsessive love can you really call that love at all? I guess you can argue to say that love makes us blind? But I think to a point being blinded by love make sense but when you are crazy... and I mean like wanting to commit double suicide crazy... I wont really call that love or a healthy relationship. It shows the most toxic side of their relationship. And lastly Touko the one that I would consider more of the pure love or what love would really represent. Someone who wants to help us. Someone who pushes you to achieve your dream and the thing you really desire and love. She was the one that was there from the start to the finish helping him along his journey the whole way opening up a new chapter in his life. Not saying Nanase wasnt a pure love for him either since yes she did love and care for him but hers was more unrequited. Nothing on her part at all its just sometimes life goes that way for some of us and I can relate. Is the movie good? Thats tough to say I say it is interesting to watch but it isnt one I would really remember long term. The characters arent remarkable in any sense well maybe the exception of Touko who I actually like. And if you like the crazy yandere like Miu. I mean I like yandere... but when they arent too close to real life yandere lol... I prefer the more over the top yandere that might or might not exist lol... Its not a terrible movie but the ending I know a lot of people were confused by it. Who did he ended up choosing and picking? Well if you pay attention its pretty obvious he picked Touko. As he wrote the final book at the end credit to get her to notice his work knowing shell continue to read his stories. And therefore though they ended one chapter a new will begin again. So for those who didnt get the ending thats really all it is. It was just restated what he stated at the beginning of the movie. Konoha the main character I didnt really care for the dude. Hes what you call a simp. In other word he got caught in Miu web too easily and yes its true to real life too that many people cant get out of toxic relationships. Anyways watch if you have nothing else to watch but its nothing to wow you over or anything rememberable about it. Mainly all the good moments really just involved Touko talking about books. Other then that its not bad for a romance if you like toxic relationships. Im just glad he didnt ended up with Miu... I wouldve been like wow I wasted my time watching this.... even though he still loves her he doesnt love her that way.
