there may be spoilers here i tried not to write too much tho. this is my first time writing a review. THE SHORT Writing/Dialogue. 9/10 Art. 10/10 Characters. 8/10 Plot. 8/10 THE LONG Love at its rawest. The manga revolves around the lively Kouno Jun and his endless love for Hasebe Rino... or rather all the Hasebe Rinos in his life. It starts right off to the interesting point of the story Hasebe Rino disappearing right after the main character confesses and then reappearing years later with no memories of the first confession. When I started reading this manga it felt loud because the main character was supposedly lively and that definitely put me off. I was reading to relax and it was loud. But as I scrolled more trying to finish at least one chapter of it intrigued by the mysterious disappearance of Hasebe I got sucked in the world of Fujimi Lovers. The story was definitely not what I expected nor would it be what any of you probably expected if youre expecting something based on its summary. I really liked the way this manga described love for a character like Jun. Jun is earnest persistent super persistent and super in love. With Jun constantly falling in love with Hasebe Rino and with the boldly gruesomeish art that depicts Juns love as painful heart stabbed with knives and kneaded then turned to a cake chest hollow with his heart in his own hands ready to be offered and many others per chapter I thought this manga seemed to scream that Juns love is raw. Jun loves and loves and loves without even taking a second to falter over his feelings or think it over. He loves no matter the state of Hasebe. His time is stopped for every Hasebe that comes into his life. everyone in his life is moving on and hes busy clinging to every and any trace of Hasebe. He immediately falls in love that I thought maybe it was some sort of obsession towards the disappearing phenomenon instead. But then youll later find in the chapters that maybe he doesnt really care about the disappearances all he wants is to confess and have his feelings reach her. All he does is love. Overall Juns great love is raw still the same and fresh as back in kindergarten. This manga is an unlikely manga about romance. I definitely enjoyed it especially the art. The plot was also good and not too complicated. It kind of reminded me of Scott Pilgrim though. I also really enjoyed each Hasebe and their stories. If there was a book of the story of every Hasebe Jun met Id buy and read it. I like that even if I know how its going to end even if its probably another disappearance its the story in between that matters. Its the way Jun gets Hasebe to love him back. Its such a shame it ended did it get canceled? I dont know abruptly and like that but I still appreciate the ending. Its obvious Jun will always love the abundance of Hasebes.
