Osamake Osananajimi ga Zettai ni Makenai Love Comedy or Osamake... a romcom where childhood friend wont lose... or should we say noone will lose neither win. After finishing this anime it left me thinking... isnt Kachi Kuroha and even Maria all childhood friends of Sueharu to some extent? At the first half of the anime it felt like we were getting to know the characters first with some funny moments and glimpse of Sueharus painful past to keep us interested in the storyline. What i mainly got from the first half of the anime was how can people get blind thanks to emotions such as lovehappiness guilt regret or anger. This is something i believe anime tried to use as a baseline in the first one to the second half. In the second half we could see more of the past of main character and also of the 3 girls. Kuroha Shida Kuroha Shida from the start appeared to be the childhood friend of Sueharu.. acting as a big sis to him. But we could see fairly early that she is romantically interested in the main character. Main traits of hers are i would say caringkind but also very manipulative. Throughout the anime i felt like Kuroha was able to get most out of her situation and lot of the times trick Sueharu or other characters to a place where she could spent lot of time with the main character. I personally believe Kuroha would be the worst girl for Sueharu. If we get season 2 i may change my opinion.. but from what i have seen in this one season she would be just unbearable :D. Shirokusa Kachi Here i would say is the best option for Sueharu. At a young age Kachi was very soft and scared kid but thanks to getting to know Sueharu she changed massively... the MCs dedication and passion for acting was a so big inspiration to Kachi that she took the courage and once Sueharu suddenly dissapeared.. she decided to grow as a person and impress him. I honestly really liked how was Kachi able to develop.. as she probably is the main thing that made this anime interesting. Maria Momosaka Maria Momosaka.. a girl which calls MC oniichan had to say this. Despite Maria being younger than most of other characters she i would say was a very interesting character to follow she had a quite similar way of growing up like Kachi.. also being influenced by Sueharu. She also took his energy and achievements as a motivation to push her limits and grow as a person at a VERY young age. With that said i would still say she is the most childish of the three girls.. even so i would still say she is a better option than Kuroha. She also tried to manipulate with others to get the best chance to spend time with Sueharu.. but she also tried to be there for him when he needed it. I would say she tried to grow up faster than MC as she felt that if she doesnt do so Sueharu will drift away and she wont have a chance. Main takeaway So what would be the main takeaway from this anime? Hard to tell honestly.. after the second half i tried to compare it with likes of Oregairuno chance beating that anime or Koikimo where to my suprise again.. cant compare it. The depth and sense in this anime is... just really missing in my opinion. So the one thing i took away in the first half is that emotions can completely wash away any logic or calm thinking on situations this can lead into many decisions the characters regretted or still regret.
