Well. Here I am writing my very first review on this site and it just so happens I chose Ojojojo. I suppose Ill do what everyone else does and break my review up into different sections: Plot Characters Art Overall Enjoyment and my personal thoughts that you may or may not care about. Just to be safe Ill tell you beforehand there will be minor spoilers. Proceed at your own risk. Okay? Alright lets move on. Plot: 90/100 The story starts off in a school environment and essentially details the romantic development of the two main characters Kawayanagi and Haru. As the story progresses other dynamics situations and relationships are introduced but Id say a good third of the manga focuses on the two main leads. The plot itself seems like your runofthemill high school romance plot but read on and youll actually find its very original including some unique twists and turns the author threw in to enhance the story which worked out at least for me. Characters: 86/100 While we do see the case of a classic tsundere Haru what I think sets this manga apart from others is the distinct personality of all the characters. Yes even the side ones. In all reality this manga does an exceptional job at making you care about other characters aside from the main two. Each of the characters fit together really well and I dont think I read a part where the characters actions or behaviour felt outofplace and not indicative of their established personalities. Art: 80/100 Im a sucker for cutesy art and if you are too then youll probably enjoy this more than others. I first found out about this manga through the author himself since he was also the one behind KobayashiSans Dragon Maid Which was really good so I decided to try out his other works. For the most part though its more than adequate. Overall Enjoyment: 96/100 I can personally and truthfully testify that I enjoyed every living second I read this manga. Only reason why its not a 100/100 is because I was joggling another manga and some anime in addition to this which likely split my interest for this manga. But then again whenever I was reading this you can be damn sure I was having fun. Final Thoughts: I think the 4koma comic format enhanced the story but then again just my opinion. If you either like romance comedy cute art or anything related to the aforementioned genres I would definitely give this manga a shot. Even for those who arent fond of these genres still try it out. It didnt take me too long to finish and theres no harm in dropping something you dislike. TLDR Plot is very good Characters are very good Art is good and I really enjoyed the manga.
