After the King's death, the Queen and the Crown Prince want to get rid of the previous Queen's family. Princess Skw'àh must then take shelter in a convent. She's accompanied by her lady-in-waiting, Flora, who worships her. Flora goes to great lenghts to make the Princess feel at ease. But in that convent, where the values are so different from those of the court, social relationships are often difficult. The two women, eventually, get used to this new life. However, the peaceful days are not going to last forever.
