Hebi Musume to Hakuhatsuma

This manga is the merge of three previous manga by Kazuo Umezu: Benigumo, Akanbou Shoujo and Uroko no Kao.

It tells the story of Sayuri, a girl raised in the orphanage of Megumi-en, who is revealed to be the daughter of a wealthy family. Sayuri was mistaken for another girl when she was a baby, and was treated as an orphan. In her new home, she meets with the girl named Tamami, who was mistaken for her.

The manga was also made into a movie by the director Noriaki Yuasa, broadcasted the same year.
