Gen is a male Siberian husky owned by Megumi Kobayashi a former middle school classmate of Nao Saotome. Megumi bought Gen on impulse so several years later when he got too big and she seem to lose interest she found him a new home in Hokkaido where he can be happy and run free on the bigger fields. His right eye is a little darker than the left.
