Daniel is the eldest of the three brothers. After their father039s death he turned his younger brother Pierre into his servant and treated him in a rude way. Later it was the reason for Daniel to call himself quotthe richest manquot when wooing to Princess Rose. Daniel seems to be the head of the family after his father039s death as the second son Raymond obeys him. Daniel is greedy and not quite honest as Pierre039s part of the heritage was divided between the eldest brothers.
