Ariadne de Mare

Ariadne is the illegitimate daughter of Cardinal de Mare and Lucrezias former maid. She was banished from the cardinals manor and sent to live on a farm due to her mothers lowborn status. Ariadne was in love with Cesare and devoted eight years of her life to him and his path to becoming king. She is later told that she is nothing more than a consolation prize to Cesare as he has always wanted her older sister Isabella. She is killed by her sister only to return to her seventeenyearold self and given a second chance in life to undo her past mistakes.
