Shuu is an extremely talented sniper and with the help of his celluloid Alice makes a living out of killing road agents bandits. When questioned about why he kills them he refers to them as scoundrels. Despite Shuu being extremely proficient at a range with a variety of weapons he cannot shoot at close range due to mental trauma. He spends his time defending the ruins of an abandoned city.
